A-Admit

Admit to God that you are a sinner.

Repent, turning away from your sin.

(Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9)

B-Believe

Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son, and accept God's gift of forgiveness from sin.

(John 3:16; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8; Esphesian 2:8-9; John 1:11-13)

C-Confess

Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

(Romans 10:9-10,13)

HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN

"For God so loved, the world, that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

John 3:16

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth His love toward us in that; While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:8

"For by grace are ye saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Ephesians 2:8,9

"But as many as received Him, to them gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."

John 1:12

"For, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved."

Romans 10:13

If you have received Christ by calling upon the name of the Lord in prayer, the following took place; your sins were forgiven.

"In whom we have redemption through His blood; even the forgiveness of sin."

Colossians 1:14

You become a child of God.

"But as many as received Him to them gave the power to become the sons of God; even to them that believe on His name."

John 1:12

You were made an heir to all of God's blessings.

"The Spirit itself bearth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God; And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."

Romans 8:16,17

And you now possess everlasting life.

"He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

1 John 5:12,13

You became a Christian the moment you received Christ.

Don't trust your feelings, for they will change. Take God at His Word and believe His promises. Review the above whenever doubts arise. You should be able to say with assurance, "I have received Christ. On the authority of God's Word, I have eternal life."
